St. Philips College 2013 Fall LVN Program...

I'm turning in my application for the Fall 2013 LVN Program today. Has anyone applied and gotten in? How is it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't bought my clinical scrubs yet. I was going to wait till orientation to order them but I think I might go buy them myself at the bookstore too. Did the price come out to the same?

Am I correct that we need all books for the first semester except for numbers 14 & 15 on the list?

Yup that's what I calculated, all of them except 14 & 15. I might as well buy all the books. i wonder if we really need the current edition of the books or can we buy a later edition. & I hope we get registered for classes soon. Peggy said by the end of next week or the following week but just to keep checking aces.

Why do they take so long to register us for classes?

I got my blue card for the background check in today. Anybody else get theirs yet?

I haven't gotten my blue card yet but I didn't get my fingerprints done until the 23rd. So maybe by the end of this week?

I haven't gotten mine yet. And they still haven't registered us for classes :/ they need to hurry up!

I'm worried they aren't going to register us in time to get our financial aid before school starts. Financial aid is the only way I'm able to pay for my books.

I know me too. I went yesterday to drop off my blue card & Peggy said that start checking our aces every other day starting next week and that we should be registered for our classes but if we're not registered by the 19th that to call her.

Yeah it sucks. I just don't understand why it's taking so long for them to do anything. It's so frustrating! And we just have to sit around and wait.
