Hey fellow nurses
Has anyone heard of the St Peter's University Nursing Residency Program in New Brunswick, New Jersey. I just passed my NCLEX and I'm looking for a job. And looking for a job as a new graduate is hard, submitted over 50 applications in different hospitals but no call except from St Peter's. They are offering an internship training program for new grad nurses for 6 weeks but no pay. I'm interested in the surgical unit. I have an interview with my nurse recruiter on Monday (October 10) and with the nurse manager.
Is anyone else joining this internship program? Do we get allowance for joining the residency program> Or did anyone finish the internship program? Were you offered jobs at St. Peter's after the residency program? per diem or full time? How much is the pay after? How was your experience in the hospital? Were people friendly to new grads or were they mean?
I also heard that there is a med math and pharmacology exam you have to pass to join the program. Do you guys have any tips or a study guide?
Do you guys no any hospitals willing to train new grads with a pay?

Hi,
I was just offered the internship as well. I would like to know if you ended up working at the hospital and how did you like it. I would appreciate any information that you can give me.
