St Pauls SI NY Hesi Exam

Nursing Students HESI

Published

Hi All,

Has anyone recently graduated from St Pauls nursing school on staten island? If so, are you working in a NY Hospital?

Also, what classes do I have to take at CSI to be able to transfer and get my BSN at Staten Island College?

I am so unsure if going to St. Pauls is the right thing to do with them not being NLN accredited. I am worried about not getting into a hospital in Manhattan. Any help or advice would be awesome..............

Also, Has anyone done the BSN at Chamberlain online and if so how was that experience?

Non NLN versus NLN????? So confused ....

Hi,

Did you decide to go to saint Paul's? I am considering the Staten Island campus. I did reach out to a few bsn programs. I asked them about the accreditations and if saint Paul's credits would transfer. I have not heard back from csi but wagner said they accept all credits but you need to maintain a 3.0. I know someone who is doing the chamberlain program and they are very happy with it. It's pleasing to know there are programs that will accept credit from saint Paul's. I am hoping that by the time I graduate the program will be accredited.

Jaclyn

Check the NLN website. Their name was recently added to the list of NLN accredited schools.

Hello,

I currently attend St.Paul School Queens campus, and I am going through a VERY big issue with them.

Not only I, but also many other students.

I am not too sure about the SI campus, I have heard good things, that the school is very fair, because the queens campus just do what they want and however they please...& they will screw you over.

thats just my 2 cent.

but good luck!

Mell0w if you don't mind me asking what issues? I want to know what I'm getting myself into before I start paying for tuition. I heard the queens campus accepts transfer credits easier than the Staten Island one. Besides that I haven't heard much. I would imagine both programs should run under the same rules but I'm not too sure after what I've been reading online.

Hello-

I can't disclose this information since it is still pending under investigation ,

but just know as a student - we should not have to go through this..

basically they did not treat me fairly ..

I am just hoping it all works out.

If you are near SI, I suggest you go to the SI one. Queens campus seems a little unorganized and corrupted ... I heard good things about SI, and how the teachers work together/functions together.

Well i can't say the same for the queens campus

That's nerve wrecking :(

hi mell0w. can you be more specific on that "issue" w/ st. paul's please? I'm thinking of applying there for 2014

I as well, I am currently scheduled to take the HESI exam very soon and would like to know what I am getting myself into
