Hi,
I am applying to Saint Paul's School of Nursing for the Spring Semester that begins Jan 3, 2012. Anyone else??
Uh you dont get to pick your schedule in any semester because it's a small school.everything is limited.unless you have some dire situation you maybe able to switch around.if they continue to expand the maybe you have more choices.you are either in the day section or night and you go from there.depending on prereqs who will most likely with the same people for all your classes.which is cool i guess.i think 60 is alot!but since we will be in new buidling everything is more spaced out.
hey guys congrats on getting accepted... I just graduated in May... the school is by far perfect ...they have their flaws but hey if your serious you just do what u gotta do and get through the program. I have my degree and my license and thats y I went there so thats all that matters. It is not easy I was stressed out but if you study youll pass. I even had a baby and still graduated so hey its not bad. I know alot of people critizise them but if they mess up they will fix it or u fight them until they do. bottom line if you want your degree and rn license you will get it. Im encouraging my friends and family to go there.
@mcflea I am a student there now I love it because there is food all over the place lol and there is a lot of activity as oppose to the other location
Cool, I took the HESI last week and did well. Got a call back today to come in to discuss financial aid. I guess that's a good sign? They said I was supposed to wait around after the test, but nobody informed me of that.
Hi, I took the hesi last Friday (staten island) and I passed. I got a call on Monday from my admissions rep, all she told me was that I passed and now my file is going to be reviewed and i should get a letter in the mail next month. She never discussed any financials with me. I did ask her if i have a good shot of getting in and she said yes. Any thoughts? Thanks!!
I took the hesi the first week of July, I was #15 on the waiting list for September. Unfortunately, I didn't get in for September but I do have my spot for January. My advisor told me the acceptance letters go out the end of October. To get a head start, go get a physical done at the doctors office, make sure your up to date on your immunizations. Your going to need $500 for a deposit, which the want ASAP. It's exciting! Are you going for day or night classes?
HI! I'm from SI.
I was thinking of applying to St Paul's School of Nursing if I don't get into the nursing program at CSI since it's soo competitive there. I have a pretty good GPA, but I'm pretty sure it's not good enough...
How was the application process for St Paul's? Did you get in right away? If you were put on a wait list, did you still get a spot in the school? My dream is to become an RN and I'm not letting anything stop me! I've had a tough year at CSI, I really don't like the environment there and all. I think St. Paul's is the school for me because I want to become an RN the fastest way I can. I hate that I may be wasting my time with my pre-reqs here because I might not even get into the CSI nursing program.
Also did anyone take out loans to pay for tuition? Because the tuition is pretty high...

@Ashley627 I was wondering the same thing about the classes. It would be nice if we can choose them.
