Hi... can I ask you if you guys getting books are from the Staten Island or queens location?? Also are you day or evening program..... I have not have anyone contact me and tell me to get books.

They let you know the hours over at Queens it’s 11-6, they let you know during orientation

I’m from the Staten Island location, morning program. I reached out to my representative this morning regarding textbooks after seeing these posts and she said everything will be discussed during orientation which is this Thursday

@Lo41

So far so good I’m only in the first semester. Just be ready to tech yourself in the nursing courses depending on your professor.

I've heard so many mixed reviews about this school. How was it getting in? Do they offer a night program? When you applied which pre reqs did you apply with? Thank you for your feedback ?

Look at the end of the day it’s a nursing school its not gonna be cake. Each school has its pros and cons. We are there for one thing to graduate so just be focused it’s an opportunity.  They have day and night classes.

I applied with both English classes. Psych 1 and human anatomy 1&2 but honestly it’s some people there with no pre reqs so it all depends what the committee is looking for. It’s some people with no background medical experience so. Just give it a shot

I was not asking if the school is going to be easy. I am asking if the professors are knowledgeable and if it's worth going here & paying for an education. Nursing anywhere is going to be challenging but if all nursing schools were the same. There wouldn't be schools with top ratings ?

Hey,

I'm in my first semester I would say so far the professors in my classes are very knowledgable and enjoyable. But like as TY Motivated mentioned before you have to dedicate yourself.

Why are you on this forum asking questions and then be passively rude... what’s your point ? Everyone experience is different, you have to see for yourself. A rating is a rating for a reason. It’s opinionated. All I was saying is to make the best out of any nursing school you go to. That’s it good luck on your journey. I’m sure you will do great !
