Is anyone applying to St. Paul school of nursing queens for January 2019
I received a rejection letter in the mail for the RP campus. Was told I can put in a transfer for SI. I decided against it at first because the commute would be too far but now rethinking if I take the train to Brooklyn then the shuttle.
Would anyone know where the shuttle would pick up students and the schedule?
If SPSON SI doesn't work out, I'm considering applying to Swedish Institute or wait a year to reapply to SPSON RP.
I am sorry to hear that , did they waitlisted you or is it a rejection ? , i've heard that queens campus does get filled up pretty quickly ... if they waitlisted you dont give up, some people drop as it gets closer abd they call does who were wait listed !! & perhaps give staten island campus a try

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear it. I would do both. Apply for the SI location and apply for Swedish. Swedish works fast. I was hesitant about them because I don't hear a lot about their graduates.
A friend of mine graduated from Swedish Institute several years ago. She said she doesnt have ahy friends who attended but a coworker's son is and struggling.
I put in a transfer for the SI campus. The admin rep at RP said it may take a week to hear back and a spot isn't guaranteed.
I need to find out the shuttle bus info because if I'll be commuting from Queens. If I am accepted but it's too far of a commute, I won't be able to attend. Taking the MTA would take 2 hours point to point.
I was rejected. It was my own fault. If I had known I can apply for May, I would've waited or shouldn't have waited so long to apply for January and actually write out a personal statement. I think that may have helped. I only submitted recommendation letters.
I put in for a transfer to the SI campus. Hopefully everything works out in the end. Don't really want to wait a year to reapply or to start nursing school.

Hey there. What I know about the shuttle is what I've read from reading about everything SPSON related on this site. The shuttle picks you up from Atlantic Ave/Barclay center station in Brooklyn. Apparently, the ride is then 35 minutes to the school. I got that info from a thread about the school for 2017 semester. And my aunt's coworker who went to SPSON also said the same. They didn't mention anything about the schedule though, and perhaps you can call the school to inquire?
Your friend who went to Swedish wouldn't recommend it?

I don't understand that either. Especially since you have to pick an orientation date and orientation is next week. Unless they have more than two dates. Maybe they accept people in waves or batches.
