Will another NJ Hospital close?
Why are banks getting bailouts and not hospitals?

If St. Mary's Hospital does close, then more experienced nurses will be on the loose and that's bad news for the new grads who are still looking for jobs!

reason for tight nj job market:
the bankruptcy is the sixth by a state hospital since 2007. since 1992, 27 hospitals have closed in new jersey

Amen to that. Someone get this hospital help.
And I heard that St Mary's was in trouble before this. They do not even have a career link on their website for someone who might be looking to work there. However, I was called by an agency who said he recruited for St Mary's doesn't have any placements for new nurses now but I should contact St Mary's directly if I would like to work there. I asked him about the hospital being in trouble and he didn't act like he knew a thing. I think- if anything they only want experienced nurses there. But they might not be around for that much longer.
