Just thought I'd start a thread for anyone who applied to the St. Jude Nurse Residency for Summer 2020. Has anyone received any more updates/emails about the postponed final decisions?

Hey, did you hear anything? I am looking to apply for residency in Decemeber.

Yes they've decided to postpone final decisions on the residency until June due to COVID-19. You might want to look at this link with the timeline/deadlines if you are considering applying in the future. I don't believe they accept applications in December.

Okay, thank you. I graduate in December and have made a reminder to apply in October. Theres not much forums to see how it goes. Theres only 60 beds so I was wondering what positions do they have for new grads. Do you even get to pick your preferred unit?

Application opened today. Does anyone know how many new grad nurses does their residency accept?

I don't but I am also wondering how many. I f you applied, we should be hearing back from them this week
