For RNs that applied to the January 2020 Fellowship program for St. Joseph, St. Jude, or Mission Hospital, has anyone heard back from a recruiter?

I applied and haven’t heard anything so far

What hospital and what was the unit you applied for?

I applied to St Joseph for Hybrid CVICU, Observation, Pulm Renal, and Medical ICU

Hi! Did you guys get interviews? I'm applying for the TIP starting this April and have an interview on Thursday. Does anyone remember what questions they were asked?

Congrats on getting an interview! How did your interview go? How long was it? What were some of the questions they asked you?

Unfortunately I wasn’t called back after the interview. I did think the interview went fine but maybe I just wasn’t what they were looking for. It was about 2 hours. There was 6 of us interviewing, and we each were at a table with two interviewers, in a 10 minute per table rotation. So every ten minutes we moved to the next table and answered the same set of questions. It sounded repetitive but since you are talking to new people each time, you want to make your mark each time.

The last 10-15 minutes is a case study. They give you a case study just like in school, and you look at it for five minutes before you talk to them. You’re by yourself, so not like a group type of thing. And I had three of the interviewers with me in a smaller room. Basically asking what would be your SBAR, concerns, and steps to take!

It went by pretty fast once everything starts.

questions included: (all behavioral)

-why this hospital?
-tell us about an unsafe situation for you or for your patient and what did you do?

-what do you have to contribute to this hospital?
