St. Joe's Hospital Syracuse

Published

I'm in the process of applying to St. Joseph's and wondering if anyone works there or has applied there and can tell me about the interview/hiring process.

Also, can you guys give me some guidance about apartment complexes and neighborhoods that are good to live in? I'd like to live someplace without a lot of noise and stuff going on- I'm currently in NYC and sick of the noise and congestion.

I'm from Syracuse and while I can't answer your questions on St. Joe's (I'm currently applying too, so we're in the same boat) I can tell you where not to live :p Don't live in the city unless you want to live in Eastwood or Strathmore. Everywhere else in the city limits is just a hell hole. Look into apartments in Camillus, Onondaga Hill, and Marcellus. They're a little more far flung but it's quiet, the area is much nicer, and you won't have to worry about crime. If you're from NYC I imagine you're used to exorbitant rent prices, but you can get a nice apartment for around $800 a month in any of the areas I mentioned.

Stay far, far away from the North and South sides of the city.
