Hi! I was looking for someone who has some information on the St. Francis Medical SON and their NNP program. I can't find anyone with any information on it, and it is not rated on the USA school ratings website. Thanks!

Oh my gosh. I am so happy to read this post!! I have been looking everywhere for the same information! I am starting there in the NNP program next month.
It looks like it is just you and me! :). I'm still contemplating between here and South Alabama. Do you live in Illinois? I don't.
Sending you a pm :)

Hi guys....I attended OSF Saint Francis for a post-MSN adult CNS as well as a peds CNS. They are well-respected in this area. We have an oversaturated market here with OSF, Bradley in Peoria, IL and then several well-known on line distance learning schools.
I am glad to help answer questions if I can.
That is good to know! I just want to make sure it is a high quality program. I also would like to find out if the credits would transfer just in case I chose to change programs. Thank you!

Hi!
I was a graduate of the MSN-NNP program at Saint Francis. I am so happy that I choose to go through this program. I did my clinical hours in the NICU at Saint Francis as well. The instructor for the NNP program is very dedicated to her students. She was available for questions and very supportive of myself and peers throughout the program. The other faculty members that taught the other courses in the MSN program were great as well! I did not feel like I was just a number or another student, I felt like I was a part of the team. The flow of the program was not overwhelming. I was able to work full-time while completing this program. You will receive all of the information needed during orientation about how the program works and the expectations.
Best of luck!
