St. Elizabeth's anyone?

Just wondering if you guys have heard anything good/bad about this hospital. It is in Wicker Park.

st. elizabeth and st. mary's are merging as one huge campus (they're a few blocks away from eachother). if you're hired at st. elizabeth's, most likely by january 2008, you will be moved over to st. mary's. i've recently been hired for their ICU. Im a new grad and I'll be working days, 12hr shifts, for $25/hr...a pretty sweet deal for a first job i think. resurrection hospitals also give you $9-10,000 for tuition reimbursement. that's more than any hospital in chicago from what i've found. oh! and parking is free! haha!

you should check out the openings: http://www.reshealth.org/

hope that answers some questions!

take care! and good luck to you!

I work for resurrection as well. Im in tele and I like my coworkers and boss so far. I see the gossip and stay out of it. But these nurses are good and a few of them are good teachers.

Thanks, I didn't realizing they were joining! Saint Elizabeth's/Saint Mary's is on my list of places to apply at because I am going to move to the WP area.

If you don't mind me asking:

Do they offer self scheduling?

What Pt/Nurse ratio did they tell you?

Weekend differential?

What type of Q's did HR ask you when you had your interview?
