Sure! They asked me pretty generic questions like describe a time when you had conflict with another coworker, what do you do if you see a doctor bit following the hand washing protocols, why nursing or why this unit, what drew you to apply at this hospital (I suggest memorizing the I.C.A.R.E. values and mission statement), and go prepared with a few questions to ask them and ask if you can see the unit if they don't offer a tour. I think that was mainly it though. Pretty chill. I ended up accepting a position in their ER unit
Definitely. All the staff are nice and helpful and create a family atmosphere that I love. I would definitely say that if your preceptor's teaching style doesn't match your learning style than definitely speak up cuz that will hold you back a bit. A couple of my preceptors were a little bit over bearing and would step in for me too often and I can't retain info like that but I'm excelling decently fast now

Hi, I just received a job offer for the IMC/Telemetry unit residency at SDMC and was wondering if anyone else is going to be in the January/February cohort or if anyone else who has been through this program could give some insight about it!
