Hi gang, Im so glad I found this message board. :specs:

Has anyone gotten into this CNA program? Did you get your letter after the test yet?

Couple weeks ago (Iwent to) they had mass interviews and then did a testing and Im just wondering if anyone got any reply yet. They said 2 weeks.

No, not as yet. I was told 7-10 days. I am definitely not expecting to get in, since it had VERY difficult questions around anatomy and I am coming from no medical background at all.

Waiting for the results anyway before signing up at Boces.

Yes, I gave in a called and the lady said they hadn't sent them out yet, she said "maybe next week"!

so I keep checking the mail daily to no avail. LOL ...have you received anything?

I hope we find out something this week..I am keeping my fingers crossed :D

LOL, yes got my NO in the mail today too!! well it was worth a shot right ...did you pass the TABE yet at Wilson Tech? I took it earlier this month and passed so it looks like I will signup for the Mon/Wed CNA program in Farmingdale (starts 2/8). Also contemplating doing the LPN prep course at Eastern Suffolk Boces-Tues/Thurs (its closer to where I live) and try to get into the LPN at Wilson come Sept.

Maybe we will be in class together.

Yes I did pass the tabe at Wilson/boces. I forgot the days the course is but Im definately doing the evenings too, because I cant afford childcare (3 kids). Week after next I will call the lady at Boces and see which one to sign up for. I will keep ya posted.

Wait..Did you say Farmingdale?? I thought it was Northport.

As for the LPN or RN (prefer), Im hoping for SCCC or Farmingdale they are competitive but I dont want to take out a loan for Molloy. So Im gona start the pre-requisites and see..

awesome!..both Northport and Farmingdale evenings begin in february for CNA.Let me know. I hear you, I have two little ones and will need to wait for my husband to get home from work.

I looked into SCCC for LPN and spoke to the woman in charge of the program there. As of now there is no evening program being offered.Only for RN she had said.
