Hello everyone,

I have been accepted to Creighton university ABSN program (12 months) and Alverno college DEMSN program (18months). I am reading about some mixed reviews about the DEMSN program with Alverno College and would appreciate it if any current student in or someone familiar with either program could kindly share some insights. I was (still am?)

I’m currently looking into just getting my RN, because there are no DEMSN or ABSN programs with in 100 miles of my home. (I was going to temporarily move to Az for Alverno; I have family there who were willing to host me). As a California resident the only online /hybrid program I could do, that I’m finding is a really expensive one out of Florida that my neighbor just graduated from. 
 

She doesn’t have her NCLEX passed yet & is getting offers for $60k + $20k sign on bonuses! Soooo I might just do the online program. In the long run it might be worth it.

Yes it’s seems so difficult now trying to obtain or further your nursing degree. I wish it wasn’t this way because there is so many amazing people who are inspiring to be nursing and would be great at it. Well good luck in your future endeavors. Keep me posted and I’ll do the same for you.
