Special Weekend Shifts?

Out of curiousity: Any LPNs currently doing those special weekend shifts where you only work Sat. and Sun. and get paid for 40 hours? What are your feelings on this type of program?

I work baylor at a LTC. work 32 hrs paid for 40. If we miss any of our shifts we forfeit the 8hr bonus pay that gives us the 40 hrs.

At another LTC their baylor requires 2 16's and an 8 hr shift during the week, definitely not for me.

I work baylor because I got tired of being stressed out everyday working an8-5 office job tht sucked the life out of me.:imbar

I lounge on Mondays and the other 4 days are mine. The next move I make will probably be out of nursing. I'm really tired of the bs.:eek:
