Who is going to be working this summer?

I considered camp and summer school, but I need to have some minor surgery this summer. Now I'm considering doing some agency work to have greater schedule flexibility. Or, I might just kick back and relax.

Not working this summer - worked my @$$ off since last fall to be able to spend 6 weeks in Spain backpacking/walking Camino de Santiago.

I work year round at an ALF as supervising RN, so in the summer, I just pick up more hours, do more in depth stuff, etc. I am "on the books" at a SNF to do PRN, but they don't usually need much. Going to be busy enough getting my kiddo off to college :(

Nope nope and nope. If I wanted to work during the summer, I'd go back to my outpatient hospital job ?

This will be my 3rd summer working at a sleepaway summer camp. I'll be there 4 weeks and my kids get to attend. It'll be from mid-June to mid-July.

I can't believe this is your 3rd summer already!

I'll be filling in Peds, NICU, healthy couplets...wherever the hospital needs me, taking my first summer vacay in years, and working at camp. Just one short camp though, not two back to back camps taking up all summer!

I know! My oldest has 3 more summers to attend and my twins have 6 more so that is where I will be for the foreseeable future!

I will be working at a day camp. It's a sweet gig- 8:30-12 M-F for 6 weeks. I still feel like a get a break, and it pays the same that I make in a 9-hour day during the year. Plus, I get to bring my daughter to work with me, since she goes to the camp (along with my niece and nephew, plus tons of other kids I know). I get 4 weeks off between the end of camp and the start of the year. I cannot wait.
