Hey everyone,
I also applied to the Spring 2016 programs. A couple of weeks ago they had a workshop for those who applied. We were told for the generic ASN program there were 369 applicants, of which 94 positions will be filled. The gentleman making final decisions said that since Nov. 1 is a Sunday, we should get our emails on Friday Oct. 30 (he said it could be as late as 8pm)....so that only leaves us with 19 more days of waiting. If anyone is applying for the LPN transition program there were (at the time) 36 applicants, with 24 spots available.
Keep in mind, the school takes Pinellas county residence as a preference, and then will look at the other county applicants. I personally applied to both programs, and am praying for a positive outcome. GOOD LUCK to everyone who applied, I look forward to seeing you in January!!!
Hello all and good luck :-) .. I'm a pasco resident and found out yesterday I didn't get into my transition program and am thinking of applying to both the college here and spc for next fall.. was wondering if anyone knew how the students accepted are chosen? Does it go by gpa only?.. gpa and teas?.. this would be for the lpn to rn transition program. . Thanks :-)
Hello! So I would say your best bet is go on to St. Petersburg College
They have all the information you need on there. Good luck! :)
