Hello all,
I will be applying for the nursing program @SWIC in September for the June 2015 start. I was wondering if anyone knows what the cutoff will be (points acceptance)?? I have been attending part time so this is my third year. I am finally finished with my pre-reqs. If I at least get 6/8 on the DET exam, then I will have 20 points. I'm freaking out!! :/

I am in the same boat as you. I will hopefully be applying with 18 to 20 points after I take the DET exam. I still have to take Psychology, nutrition and medical terminology. I have also heard from a few nurses at my current job to take pharmacology. So I think I will be finishing these four classes up before the start of nursing classes. So fingers crossed what I have done already will get me in!
From what I have read online the point cutoff has been between 16.5 and 18 for the past couple of years. I think it all just depends on the amount of applicants.

Hello, I have applied as well for 2015 and will have 19 points. About one month until the acceptance emails are sent!

Hey All. I also have applied for the Summer 2015 start. I have 18 points. I had 16 last year and applied and was denied. I hope 18 is enough. It has been around 17 for the last few years, so I have my fingers crossed. If you have 19 or more points, you should feel relieved because you are probably a shoe-in. Good luck! The acceptances should be coming out this week. #nervous
Do you think the acceptance letters will be sent this week or next?? I can't stand the wait!!!
I hope this week! I know the waiting is killing me too. Last year I applied with 16 points and got my denial on 04/04/2014, which was this Friday last year. So I hope its this Friday! Who knows though....its tough waiting.

Waiting, too! Going into this with 20 points. I thought I heard that the acceptance, denial, and alternate status notifications were supposed to arrive by email. But I'll take my notification in any fashion. Good luck to all of you!
The letters are supposed to be sent via student email
Did anyone get their letters last week?
No, I wish! You?
Nope not yet! The college was closed on Friday so hopefully today will be the day! Fingers crossed!!
