Southern Union State LPN/RN

Hi is anyone applying for the LPN or RN program for fall 2015? I just applied and am very nervous about getting in. I would love to connect with fellow students there.

did yall go to the lpn program at southern union? If so where did yall stay? I am curious to where people live there because the city wadley is so small.

Hello ladies, this would be my first post! I have also applied to the LPN program here at Southern Union. I DO live within the Wadley zip code...not sure if the letters are coming from opelika or here! I had 124 points for lpn. Good luck and I will post as soon as I get some good/bad news!

They have the Wadley college apartments right down the street from campus and dorms!

O ok, the first time I went to the college I was in shock...I come from big cities like detroit and atlanta.

That's a normal reaction! It is definitely a small place! There's not much to do unless you know folks! We spend our weekends kayaking the river and riding dirt roads. Most all of the instructors I have had at Wadley are helpful and understanding! Good luck to y'all!

I just called Opelika campus THE letters have been mailed! She wouldn't say which day, but they are on the way!!! Best of luck to ALL!

Thats good to know about the instructors. do you know the name of the apartments? I wanna call and get pricing info. im so nervous about the letters. Did you also apply for the RN program? Good luck everyone!!!!

Wadley College Apartments, I do not have the number. I can get it Monday. I have not applied for the RN, although I did set all of my classes to the RN program. LPN is just what was available to me first. It was not my first choice, sometimes you just have to play the hand you are dealt! On the upside of it is I live 7 min from Wadley campus and when I bridge over that will only put me driving to the Opelika campus for two semesters! Hopefully the mail lady brings us all good news today!

Everyone starts somewhere and you can work on weekends as a LPN. My co worker went there for the bridge program and went one day a week. I just realized that the program start in may not august. I can not wait for the mail man to come. I was reading other threads and some said that if you get accepted the envelope is thick
