Southern CT State University Traditional Program...

Published

Hi, kind of in this phase of now what after being wait listed for the nursing program at the community college. So I am teetering on going for SCSU ACE or traditional program.

I currently have a B.S. degree in the human service field from another CT State University so a decent chunk of prerequisites are completed and classes.

If I can make it through AP2 and Micro this semester I will only have 3 pre-reqs left.

For the Fall thinking of retaking my Stats class, Physics, and Lifespan class. Also looking to retake the TEAS see if I can go higher than a 73. In the Spring would probably look into taking Biochem.

Curious anyone have experience been through or currently in SCSU program? How are the classes? Any info in regards to competitiveness regarding acceptance?

My GPA isn't stellar. With my previous degree and current classes I think I average at 3.0 for right now.

Currently have a B- in AP1 and a B for Intro to Chem. Keeping fingers crossed can come out with a C+ or higher for Micro or I'll have to retake it. AP2 hoping for a B or higher.

Appreciate the feedback can give.
