Hi! Starting a thread for SCTC Spring 2025 ASN nursing cohort. Is anyone planning on applying?

OK did u take the HESI in person or remote?

In person. I wasn't even aware there was a remote option.

I really don't know if there is remote opinions. I have TEAS but not sure if they will accept it

When did u take the HESI and how many sections are in the exam?

I took the HESI aug 13,2024 and just made sure to apply before that date so it was still less than a year old at the time of my application.

I think they require the HESI. There are 6 sections on the exam southern crescent requires.

Can u remember what sections?

absolutely, it's hard, we just have to keep each other encouraged during this "crazy wait" process... The school closes at 1:30 pm on tomorrow, not sure if this has anything do with it

Math, anat & phys, biology, grammar, reading, and vocabulary. then a critical thinking section.

so basically if we don't find out today, it will be Friday. or next week.

It's getting a bit frustrating honestly. Why are they closing at 1:30 on a Thursday.... It gives me a bit of anxiety about how the program is going to be. I prefer structure and punctuality....

Did u get in the program?

We are all still waiting to see. We haven't heard back from the school yet

I do too. I don't think it's just the nursing department closing though, if you go on the website it says the entire school is closing at 1:30 for divisional meetings. But it does make it even more depressing that we definitely won't know tomorrow if we don't find out today. LOL
