Hi! Starting a thread for SCTC Spring 2025 ASN nursing cohort. Is anyone planning on applying?

Me too .. I think a lot of people applied for the program and transferred in that's causing the delay

this is the latest the applicants have found out in years I'm pretty sure. I know people that went the years before and they all found out early. I'm honestly thinking at this point it will be the end of this week now.

Oh meaning they took classes at other places? At least we know the deadline is by Sunday correct?

I have no clue if there even is a deadline that they have to tell us. probably not. I just know we have a deadline to reply back.

I think they have also had a lot of staffing changes going on. I'm just praying it's today so I can go ahead and stop stressing. This is the most agonizing wait. I would hope it's today as it looks like orientation is usually the 3rd week in October on that Monday

Yeah, you're right, I heard that too. Again, this wait has been brutal on us.. We worked so hard to get to this point. I hope today is that day for us!I'm trying to keep my sanity and be patient but my patients has became thin. LOL...

I wish they would have told us that staffing issues have been a problem and it would be a longer wait so we would have at least known. This has been so agonizing. my sanity is out the window at this point. every time my phone goes off I'm opening it as fast as I can. I really hope today is the day too.

I'm getting a little angry the longer it takes. I know it's a lot to go through the scores but this happens every year so I feel a bit let down by the long wait this year.

Did the application actually close on the 31st?

It's going to be okay! We got this! I feel so nervous but I never get to stressed until around noon when I got my letter last year
