I honestly feel like I got raked over the coals with clinical questions. I was asked lots of stuff I have no experience with.

On the bright side. They were nice, and I feel like I did well on the EI stuff.

Hey Chris, from what I've heard that is the whole point of the interview. They WILL ask stuff you're not familiar with or they will simply ask silly questions to see how you react under pressure. For example, I've heard that NICU/PICU nurses have adult clinical questions. However, they understand you won't have the right answer to everything. They just want to see how you are in different situations. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the updates @R6Chris

how long was the interview?

I felt the same -- I prepped very heavily clinically for stuff that I see in my unit/experiences and I was thrown for a loop on a few questions. All we can do is our best then its out of our hands! 🙂

My interview was an hour long. Faculty was very nice and they do make the time fly!

how long was the interview?

45 minutes. The last 15 minutes were all Q&A driven by personal questions I had for the faculty.

Did they say when you'd hear back?
