Hello, I am starting a post for those applying to the CRNA program at South College. Their application cycle opens today, December 15th.
Sierra Barnwell said:Those that interviewed and were/weren't accepted, did they confirm your choices of clinical site at the end of the interview? Just curious. Also, how long was your interview? I had mine on the 24th and it was a doozy! Everyone was nice though.
Also had my interview recently. They were nice. I got asked a bunch of clinical questions that were from obscure pathophysiology texts. I am not sure if they were impressed or concerned by how much or how little I knew but the clinical questions were relentless and fired from all corners. In retrospect, I did mess up on a few questions, I said when I didn't know something, and outright got some questions wrong. I was asked about my clinical site preference, too. Mine was essentially the whole hour. I can't see anyone getting into this program without being really knowledgeable about the clinical science behind the why.... unless the EI weighs more than clinical questions.

Yeah they were like rapid fire clinical questions, I know I got some questions right and some I look back and think damn, I got it wrong. I agree some were straight from pathophysiology books but the harder the interview from my understanding the better you did? Who knows! When did you interview? I was honestly pretty anxious in the interview, it was my first one. I've heard South has one of the harder interview processes too!

I actually found that South was my easier one.
U Miami and U Pittsburgh were harder IMO.

3 days before you. I got a few but who knows :). Do they waitlist at this school? And if so, how does it work?
Pressor Daddy said:How do you feel you did on answering their clinical questions? Did you ace all of them or were there some you just didn't know or missed?
I did well enough for me to get an acceptance but you may be correct—I don't know that I ace every one of them.
good luck to those interviewing!
