South College CRNA 2025 Start

Published

Hi everyone! Has anyone applied to South College for the January 2025 start date? If so, has anyone heard anything? I know applications take a while to review especially with the holidays and they just opened earlier this month, but  I already got an email saying my application was pulled for review so I was wondering if anyone else had heard anything?

Can anyone explain to me how this program works I'm hearing mixed things. So the didactic portion is online ? Then whatever satellite clinical site you get is where you'll be doing all your clinical rotations at ?

The didactic portion is online, and you are only required to go to the campus every eight weeks for the in-person simulation/labs. That is the reason I turned down the acceptance. Hope this helps.

This information video on the site explains it really well. But yes it's mainly online until clinical starts.

Sounds like this program is mostly full, or at least just one clinical site left? I came across it in a search on nursing CAS - why would it be open to apply on there still if there's no seats left since its rolling admissions?

I am assuming they'll fill the rest of the spots and waitlist with this next round of interviews. I applied mid April and my interview is next week. At this point I'd probably not waste the money on the application but they probably won't officially close it until their waitlist is filled. If you want to put one in just in case, totally up to you. I definitely wish I stumbled upon this program sooner!

Specializes in ICU/RAPID nurse.

Just interviewed this morning did anyone find that this interview was very difficult with the clinical based questions? They went pretty in debt with certain topics and kept grilling me ...

I didn't find it very difficult but they did ask me one thing that I never heard of. Half of the clinical questions were pretty in depth. In all It was a good learning experience.

Compared to some other programs I've interviewed at they just kept diving deeper and deeper into a topic until I couldn't answer it any longer.

Well last week I got an email stating Ohio was the only site available then at the end they gave me a preference of choice of 4 different sites that were available now. CT, WV, Ohio, Indiana .

I interviewed yesterday and they were very friendly. The clinical portion was challenging. This was my first interview so I'm happy to have the experience and now I know what I need to improve on.

From my experience, when they go into depth that's a good thing! they will keep asking till you don't know.

Has anyone that interviewed at the beginning of June heard anything?
