I received my acceptance email two days after interviewing on June 5th. Maybe reach out?

Did anyone get confirmation for the date of their interview day yet? I need to make travel plans asap and I was hoping they'd confirm the date today. ?

Here are my stats: cumul GPA: 3.66 nursing: 3.60 science GPA: 3.60 Experience: started in a CVICU, now critical care float pool for level 1 trauma between 4 specialty ICUs and I do VV/VA ECMO, CRRT, ultrasound PIV, and IABP; open heart trained at prior hospital; preceptor; 3 years total in ICU shadowed twice for total of 20 hours volunteer at free clinic CCRN, ACLS, PALS, BLS obviously; AACN member I highly recommend casting a wide net. I've applied to 9 programs, 2 rejections, 2 interview offers so far, waiting to hear from the rest. I swear it's just a lottery right now.

I am assuming they'll fill the rest of the spots and waitlist with this next round of interviews. I applied mid April and my interview is next week. At this point I'd probably not waste the money on the application but they probably won't officially close it until their waitlist is filled. If you want to put one in just in case, totally up to you. I definitely wish I stumbled upon this program sooner!

That's what the website says. I sure hope it's today. If they're in person like it says, sooner would be definitely preferably so out of state people can make travel plans.

The website says June 17-19th for interviews. Did this change? I'll definitely need to try to get a couple shifts changed if it's the 10-12th. ?

Just got my rejection as well! Good luck to those who are interviewing! It just takes one yes. ?

This is from the email VCU sent out last month I'm guessing to all applicants. "Due to the large volume of applications received this year, we plan to send out our invitations for interviews no later than May 31. Please note that all interviews will be virtual again this year, and we anticipate interviews will be completed during the first two weeks of June. Final decisions will be communicated to all applicants no later than Aug 1.“

I'm going to be real bummed if the rest of us don't find out today. Ha ha ha

No email for me today. Last years forum, it looked like they sent invites over 2-3 days but it sucks because we'll likely have to wait over the weekend now. ?
