I received my acceptance email two days after interviewing on June 5th. Maybe reach out?

Did anyone get confirmation for the date of their interview day yet? I need to make travel plans asap and I was hoping they'd confirm the date today. ?

Here are my stats: cumul GPA: 3.66 nursing: 3.60 science GPA: 3.60 Experience: started in a CVICU, now critical care float pool for level 1 trauma between 4 specialty ICUs and I do VV/VA ECMO, CRRT, ultrasound PIV, and IABP; open heart trained at prior hospital; preceptor; 3 years total in ICU shadowed twice for total of 20 hours volunteer at free clinic CCRN, ACLS, PALS, BLS obviously; AACN member I highly recommend casting a wide net. I've applied to 9 programs, 2 rejections, 2 interview offers so far, waiting to hear from the rest. I swear it's just a lottery right now.

I am assuming they'll fill the rest of the spots and waitlist with this next round of interviews. I applied mid April and my interview is next week. At this point I'd probably not waste the money on the application but they probably won't officially close it until their waitlist is filled. If you want to put one in just in case, totally up to you. I definitely wish I stumbled upon this program sooner!

That's what the website says. I sure hope it's today. If they're in person like it says, sooner would be definitely preferably so out of state people can make travel plans.

The website says June 17-19th for interviews. Did this change? I'll definitely need to try to get a couple shifts changed if it's the 10-12th. ?

This is from the email VCU sent out last month I'm guessing to all applicants. "Due to the large volume of applications received this year, we plan to send out our invitations for interviews no later than May 31. Please note that all interviews will be virtual again this year, and we anticipate interviews will be completed during the first two weeks of June. Final decisions will be communicated to all applicants no later than Aug 1.“

I'm going to be real bummed if the rest of us don't find out today. Ha ha ha

No email for me today. Last years forum, it looked like they sent invites over 2-3 days but it sucks because we'll likely have to wait over the weekend now. ?

I spoke with someone a couple weeks ago and asked about spots. She had said at that point there were a few spots available and then the waitlist, but she said she couldn't guarantee that my application from now a month ago will be reviewed by the time those spots are filled. I'm not sure I would apply now given that information but if you have the money to spare, it never hurts to try!

Submitted my application a week or so ago and got confirmation email that everything was received on Friday! The long wait begins. Ha ha

The email did say that she was hoping to send *some* interview invitations by the end of this week so maybe there's still hope. ?

For anyone who doesn't know, but was waiting to hear, they only took 4 people from the wait-list! Such a bummer to a lot of people, I am sure. I went ahead and withdrew my place on the list since I'll be attending a nursing program at Chamberlain University in Arizona starting in January. Good luck to all who got in and all who are still working to get into a program!

Hello! So happy to have found this thread! I applied to Chamberlain Phoenix location more than a week ago and took my HESI yesterday! I got a 91% and my cumulative GPA as a transfer student is 3.84. I will be taking the 2 year route since I already finished my prerequisites. I am moving from Portland, OR area so it will be a big change! I find out for sure next Friday, but the representative I talked to said there is really no doubt that I'll be accepted. So hopefully shes right! Super excited to potentially be going there. I have heard nothing, but good things!
