As a current nursing student,new graduate or experienced nurse do you feel your SON adaquately prepared you to use information systems and computer technology as tools to aide in your nursing practice?

Not sure what SON is, but i am assuming its something like "study of nursing"

I vote yes, but I am also a computer technician, so anything techno gets me going.

I also use palm computers on a daily basis, so handhelds in the medical field are right up my alley :)

So you do feel that the curriculum at your school of nursing adaquately prepared you or your previous technical background

assited you?

We had a nursing informatics class, which taught us a great deal, however with my background, I already knew how to use all of the resources presented. I feel that it "would" have prepared me very well, if I would not have already been past that level.

It that more what you were looking for?
