Maybe I've just been reading and studying too much, but I came across this practice problem in the English & Language Usage section that made me laugh:
1. Underline the conjunction in the sentence below.
My eyes glazed over as I reviewed the math problems, but I forged ahead with renewed vigor when I remembered the upcoming exam and the necessity of scoring well to pass the course.
Is this true or what?! Considering this is the last section in the book and I don't think there's much else I can cram into my brain, this was a reminder to keep on keeping on.
A little humor was appreciated at this point, so thanks to the people over at ATI! I needed it!
