Soliciting help/stories for Resident's Rights in-service! :)

Hello!

Our social worker is leaving and I'd wanted her to help with a Resident's Rights in-service that we are having this month but she's too busy training her replacement...

What I was wanting help with was to give some stories that I could use to make the in-service more interesting for our CNAs and LPNs... Do ya'll have some good stories that I could use as examples for the various Resident's Rights?

I do have an interactive activity for them where I've printed out each Resident Right and sentences to give examples... The Rights will be on a table and the sentences will be placed onto each Right... but they have to choose what sentence goes with each Right... Sounds silly but it gets the brain jogging... I've going to break them up into little groups...

If y'all are able to give me some little stories, maybe I can ask them which category that story falls into... and the story may fall into several categories... I think it would be fun to have some "real world" examples that ya'll have experienced.

I hope ya'll can help as I'm wanting people to stay awake! LOL Mandatory in-services can be so "blah," you know? ;)

Thank you, in advance!

Not sure what you are looking for here. Is it stories of Residents rights being violated? or just examples of what a resident's rights.

Almost all facilities have resident's right sposted so pick a few and make up some scenarios.

For instance residents have a right to have intimate relationships if both oarties are consenting and able - run with that
