Can anyone tell me Solano's minimum passing semester grade for the RN program? I have heard other schools having 75, 76 percent needed to pass each semester..
thanks ?
Hi, I am the president/co-president of my year at Solano! If you get in, they will explain it all!
Basically you need a 75% test average to pass each quarter. There are two quarters in a semester with 3 exams each quarter. I know it sounds scary but its fine!
If you do not exceed the 75% test average for one quarter then they will you give you a one time slide and add in all of your assignments to exceed the 75% passing overall grade. Then, you will be put on academic watch for the rest of program. However, if you do not exceed the 75% test average for a second time, they will ask you to repeat the program and start back the following year where you had failed. If you already have the 75% test average and above, your assignments are automatically added in to boost you up a letter grade.

That does sound a little scary, but it is great to know! Thank you so much for your reply. I am waiting to hear back from them about Fall 2020 ?

Hello,
I just got accepted into Solano Community College Fall 2019 nursing program. I was wondering if any people who have applied to are currently in the program know a little bit more about the structure/curriculum and clinicals. any information would be helpful, I am trying to decide between a few programs right now.
