SoCal Providence RN Residency Program - Feb 2026 Cohort

Starting a chain for SoCal Providence RN Residency Program - Feb 2026 Cohort!

Hi, I received an interview Invite this morning from Apple Valley, I have no idea what to expect for the interview. Do they sort of choose what unit they see best fit? I specified ED for my CL but I'm wondering how each participant gets chosen for what unit. Thanks in advanced to anyone who can answer this question 🙂

Hi!

So they (should) have a manager at your panel interview from each of the units hiring. They will give you a set of clinical and behavioral questions. They will either ask you at check-in or at the end of the interview to "rank your top 3 units". Then, from there, the managers will decide and offer you. 🙂 Good luck!

Has anyone's applications turned to denied yet or is everyone's still saying under consideration?

It'll deny after the interviews are complete and job offers are sent out. For PSJMC, PHCMC & PTCSMC its about 2-3 weeks after interview date.

Hi thank you so much for your insight! If you have any insight are the clinical questions ED specific or just general since the units available are ED,ICU,med surg, tele. ? And how many questions of each are they usually! I am really trying to prepare accordingly this is my first interview finally at a big hospital since passing in July and I would love to get as much tips if possible. Thank you so much for your responses. I really appreciate it.

I got invite for San Pedro but on directions to interview is Torrance address I'm trying to figure out what location I'm going for in person interview at ... don't be discouraged I'm shocked I got call because I don't have my clinicals with Providence and I'm currently in process w my BSN

I got an interview for the Torrance location but it doesn't say where my interview is located? Where do you see the location on the email?
thank you!

They are questions from all possible areas of nursing. It's prioritization & recognizing s/sx.

I.E.

Which order would you see these pts and why?

- 58 y/o M with "pulsing " and "tearing"

- 70 y/o F with gnawing mid-sternal pain DURING meals and at bedtime.

- 15 y/o RLQ pain and tenderness and low-grade fever.

- 28 y/o F, 9w pregnant with L shoulder pain and LLQ pain.

and presenting you case studies and asking you

"What are you concerned with?"

"What interventions would you perform?"

"What information would you relay to MD?'

"What orders do you anticipate the MD ordering?"

I was recently offered at an ED (Level II Trauma) & I used free online nursing quizzes to practice.

I just got an interview from Santa Monica and Napa. I also forgot to add my resume, does anyone know how to go about it? I can't reschedule and add it again anymore.

Congrats! Just sent you a DM regarding interviews.

Has anyone gotten the interview email?? I'm afraid too many people interviewed and I didn't get a slot. I applied on the last day the application was open 😞 Are we all still waiting or did I miss it

I applied around 6:30 am on the day they opened, had clinicals and preceptorship at both locations I applied to, I'm halfway through my BSN program, have a few months experience as an RN, and every certification possible. So I don't think timing has anything to do with it. I never received an invite for an interview at all.

I apply like 10:30am .MA , phlebotomist, medical billing, RN experience less than 6 months, have all certifications. ADN, and I did clinicals in a different location than what I got my interview at.

@Moosefam5 did you get an invite to interview tho?
