Starting a chain for SoCal Providence RN Residency Program - Feb 2026 Cohort!
Hello! I received an email today at 9:22 AM to schedule an interview with St. Joseph Providence, but I didn't see it until around 1 PM. I was still able to schedule my interview despite seeing it late. There was only one available date, but there were still quite a few time slots available. The email also included interview preparation information, which was very helpful.
I applied on the 15th at 12:30 PM (so I don't think the process is FCFS). I applied to St. Jude Fullerton and St. Joseph Orange and received 2 screening questions for both locations a few minutes after applying. I listed both locations as my first choice. I am an external, but completed my final-semester clinicals at St. Joseph Providence. I do not have any paid clinical experience.
I graduated in February of this year and passed my NCLEX in September. I am worried that I may no longer be eligible for new grad programs once I reach one year post-graduation. I also applied and interviewed at LLUH but have not had any luck so far. I am really hoping this opportunity works out, as I know it may become more difficult to find a job once I am no longer considered a new graduate.
If anyone is also interviewing at St. Joseph Orange (SJO), I would love to connect. Please feel free to reach out 🙂
Good luck to everyone, and wishing everyone the best! 🥹

Congrats! Question— you know that question where it asked about BLS. Does your BLS expire after 6/25/26? Or what did you answer for that question?
