So many thoughts, So confused. So need help

Hey guys, It's like this. I recently got academically dismissed. It's like this, I didn't pass ob the first time, but i made it up the second time. This time, I didn't get through med/surg II. Guys, I was doing so well in the class. I was at a B average. What got me was this ATI progression exam. When I first got into this school (a BSN program), we basically signed a contract that said to pass our classes with a 780 and pass the exit exam to graduate. At the beginning of Fall 2009, they added the ATI progression exam, and said that we now had to get a level 2 proficiency to pass the class, despite how u were doing, which in my case, I was doing well. We were originally supposed to have two tries. The first time, I didn't do so well, but the second time, I was only ONE POINT short. So a person from ati, the dean and our faculty reviewed the test and decided to let us retake the test, which was two days later. We were told by the dean to study our focused review, which we did. The day we took the test, the dean told us we were going get 90's and 100's. That was a bold faced LIE. When we took the test, it was completely different from the focused review. We only found one or two things that related to our focused review. It has been four days to the day of this thread, and I haven't found ONE person who passed this exam out of 20 people. Guys, I had ONE more year left. I'm so confused. I know I'm going to finish what I started, I just don't know where. I have been doing research on nursing schools, and all, and I have come across many schools who do not accept nursing credits by other institutes (if I have to start all over its cool, I do prefer a 2 year BSN) and some schools don't take in students who were academically dismissed. So if you guys know any schools that take students who were academically dismissed or take nursing credits, please post, and my gpa is a 2.64. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

As a student at a school that has a mandatory level 2 proficiency on the subject ATIs to pass built-in to the curriculum, you're not getting a lot of sympathy from me. Passing the ATI at that level correlates to doing well on exit exams and on the NCLEX-RN, which is why programs incorporate ATI or HESI. It sounds like you know places already that will take dismissed students - so suck it up and apply to those schools if you want to be a nurse.

There is a difference between asking for symathy and explaining situations. In this case, I was explaining my situation, not asking for sympathy which I already had enough of, so please do not tangle the two. I am aware of the purpose of HESI and ATI, thank you very much, and I already sucked it up, and I'm still doing my research. Though I am still doing my research, what I asked for was information on ANY school of nursing (being that there is absolutely nothing wrong with asking for help), which your post obviously did not contain. The next time you reply, please make sure it contains information on nursing schools you may be familiar with, other wise, keep it moving. Have a nice day :-)
