I am trying to apply for a Federal Stafford Loan, but the website has NO link or info as to how I can do this. The only loan applications I find are Direct Loan PLUS loans, for graduate students. The only type of loan I can apply for is the Federal Stafford Loan, that is all my school accepts. UGH. No one is available at my school to answer questions right now.
GRRRR, I am anxious to have this squared away...

Normally, in my past school dealings, first you have to complete the FAFSA and have the info sent to your school if choice. Once the school has the info, they put together your financial aid offer, including any Stafford loans. The only loans I have ever applied for on my own are private loans!
Thankyou. I have completed my fasfa, but I thought I had to applyformy Stafford loans on myown.

No complete your fafsa and with my school, i had to sign a promissory note and attend a first time counseling session, either way do your fafsa and when someone is in your financial aid office, ask them for the steps to get loans. Relax. Its nerve racking at first but if you dont owe any loans previously, usually you will always gets some type of loans and aid that will cover your tuition
With the school..if you habent defaulted in loans i meant. .good luck, itll work out
