Hi!
Well, I just got my packet in the mail today that I passed my NCLEX-PN and I am totally psyched. So before I could let the euphoria sink in, my dad says, "Great, now you can start looking for RN schools."
Ugh, I remember the horror of trying to get in as an undergrad to RN program at so many schools which is why I decided to go the LVN to RN route to at least get some practice/experience in. So I was wondering, is the waitlist pretty much the same? Also, can anyone recommend some good schools for me? I've only found two that seem somewhat legit but I'd like to have more options. LA/OC preferred. Links, advice, tips, etc. would be helpful and I would be so greatful. :)

Hi and congrats on passing your NCLEX-PN! I went through the RN program at Saddleback College (Mission Viejo). I graduated in 2005 and at the time I know they had an LVN to RN program. I highly recommend the school..but don't know what the waitlist is like.
Good luck to you!

I think Golden West College in Huntington Beach has an LVN to RN bridge program that just started up recently - you may want to check them out. Congrats on passing the NCLEX! Good luck in your new future!
Thank you for this info! I'll definitely look into them as well!
