Has anyone out there received a smallpox vaccination? We are to decide this week whether to or not. I am a healthy 50 yr old nurse ...and I want to continue to be one!

The last immunizations were given in 1971 or '72 (I'm pretty sure it was '71) because I was a County Health Nurse back then and we gave small pox vaccines to the members of the public that were due for them at that time.
I would seriously doubt that this would be left over vaccine; EVERYTHING has expiration dates now and I know that the vaccines back then had them too.
