Depends on if you routinely take sleep aids or not.
If you know how they affect you, then it's not a bad idea. Just make sure you give yourself a 3-4 hour cushion to the usual limit of their effect to make sure you're not groggy and hung-over, e.g. if you usually take at 10 pm, and are good by 7 am, take at 8 pm to be good by 9 am.
If not, then don't chance it.
MILD caffination does help with alertness and attention span. Don't overdo it, but a coke or cup of coffee may help.
thanks for all your advice! i'm trying so hard to make an early sleep schedule for almost 3 days now.... drinking milk instead of my usual soda, and getting myself mad exhausted just so i could sleep early but none of it helped. only ended up getting butt pains and leg cramps(as if i were on ice skates the whole day).
goodluck sageboi, i am certain you passed! and thanks also nursekitten, i too was thinking on taking it super early in the evening so i won't feel groggy in the morning.
any more advice from anyone?:)

i know it's off topic. but isn't anyone scared that you won't get any sleep at all the night before the big test?? i was wondering. how many have tried using any sleep aids before the test? although i am aware of the side effects, i just want to ask others opinion since i'm not a morning person. thanks!
