Sleep Disorder Center

Hi, everyone ... I am supposed to start a job in a sleep disorders center next month and I was just wandering if anyone here has worked in a sleep center and how you felt about the job? Thanks.

Wow. No one, huh? I assume that nurses aren't frequently used in this environment.

I don't work at a sleep disorder center, but I'm going to one early next month. My most loving wife is tired of hearing me snoring. Gosh, she's the one who finally confirmed the appointment! LOL! :chuckle (She was told by the people at this sleeping disorder that it's the spouse that usually sets up the appointment! :chuckle ) Anyway, off I go in a couple of weeks!

How the heck am I going to get to sleep with all sorts of wires strapped to my body and with people watching?????

Anyway. . . good luck with your new job! It will probably help save many-a-marriage! :chuckle

I've always wondered HOW they get people to actually SLEEP in the centers. Please let us know.

I'll be happy to let you know how they sleep when I find out. I do know that this place has those expensive special type mattresses ... they even have a TempurPedic memory foam mattress. :)
