I have applied, waiting to hear back on my transcripts. How long was the interview portion? I am nervous and excited. I did not realize it was so competitive.Good luck! :)
That's awesome! So far, so good on the application process! I'm soooo excited. I turned in my transcripts in mid-July and heard back the following week. After that, the process has been quick, which I like! I had no idea it was that competitive also. People from all over California are applying here.
The interview portion- I was nervous, but excited at the same time. They ask you to come 30 min early because they ask you to write an essay on-site. For my interview, they basically asked me about my experience, what I've heard about the school and why I wanna go there, how I studied for the fundamentals exam they held, and what kind of things I've done as a LVN. Pretty simple questions. It was a good 20-25 min. My advice: Make eye contact, smile, and let them know how hungry you are for this. Good luck!

Hi all,
Just thought I would start a thread to see who applied for the upcoming 2018 cohort. I also wanted to check in and see how your experience has been so far through the application process. As for me, so far, I think I'm doing really well! I scored a level 2 on the RN fundamentals exam, had a great interview, and now I'm locked in with my finances. Just waiting for the phone call from SJVC to tell me if I've been accepted or not.
I believe there are only 24 seats for the bridge program and over 100 applicants. It's more competitive than I thought, especially because it's a private college.
We're supposed to hear by October 15th. Good luck to everyone!! :)
