SIUE (Edwardsville) BSN-DNP program?

I tried using the search function and couldn't find anything from recent times - is anyone here doing the online BSN-DNP program at SIUE? Seems way cheaper than doing anything over the river in STL. I work in O'Fallon so it'll be close and the hospital I'm at has pretty good tuition reimbursement.

Mostly I'm just worried about the quality of the education - I know BSN-DNP is kind of new and it's online. Maybe I've worried about nothing but some opinion would be nice if anyone doesn't mind to share.

I'm in the program, supposed to graduate in May 2021. I am actually starting the project portion of the program this semester. The quality is excellent in my opinion. The physiology, pathophysiology, pharm, adult primary care classes have so far kicked my behind and the testing is all with a lock down/web cam monitoring program to prevent cheating. That being said I have learned so much and feel like I really understand certain processes fully. One thing to take into consideration is that you must find your own preceptor for clinicals, the school is very helpful if you live in the area and even some of the instructors take students at their clinical sites each semester. I do not live in the area so that has been a bit of an issue for me, but so far manageable. The instructors and administrative staff are helpful for many things and you can tell they really want you to succeed. But I have seen people/classmates drop out. Long story short: it is difficult and you will learn a lot. I hope it is all worth it, but I feel that it will be. I read somewhere that grad school is kind of a nightmare for everyone, and I can attest to that, but I know I chose the right program.

Good luck!
