which of these fall uner situational crisis

divorce, retirement, loss of job, earthquake, birth, death of love one. i am not soo sure but i believe if situational crisis are unanticipated then is not an earthquake part of such group?

I got it wrong when i did include earthquake among my choices of divorce, loss of job and death.:confused:

Situational crisis is something that is a crisis to an individual such as death, divorce, rape and so on. An earthquake, though a crisis, is not considered a situational crisis. It involves many people. I don't think I'm doing the best at explaining this..but just to get you thinking on the right track.

Disasters are considered an adventitious crisis. That would include earthquakes, i believe.

Situational=loss of a job

change in job or financial situation

death of a loved, divorce, abortion or illness phsicalor mental

adventitious(unplanned or accidental) = rape/flood/fire/tornado/terrorism/murder/child abuse etc...

Maturational=marriage/birth/retirement(developmental)
