Hi, I am a single mom looking for an RN job (just graduated nursing school). I live in CT but would like to move to NC, however, have no idea what the good areas are as far as good schools systems and safe neighborhoods as well as a nice hospital to work in (would like a big teaching hospital). I would also like to be more towards the water but exploring all options. Anyone know a good direction to stear me in? Thanks! Oh yea, I am also looking for a job in the E.D. in a trauma 1 or 2, so if that helps. thanks again
The Triangle Area, full of great schools and a huge amount of teaching hospitals including Duke University... Some of which hire new grads into the Emergency Department!
In the Triad Area, Winston-Salem, Greensboro and High Point, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Teaching Facility with about 800+ beds.
The school systems for WS and GSO are Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and Guilford County Schools, respectively.
