I'm a single mother accepted to a nursing program. I'd appreciate it if there are any single moms who could share their experiences here.
I want to know if it's doable or absolutely impossible. I'll not be getting any family
support.
I appreciate any thoughts, ideas, suggestion and advice.

Its hard work, but you have to stay focused. I was widowed two years ago very suddenly during my 2nd year of nursing school. I was left a single mother to two young children. I had a few key support people and I also sacrificed a lot of sleep. I never considered myself a very "tough" person but I've learned that life's struggles teach us a lot about what we are truly made of. If you want something bad enough, you can succeed!

I don't have any experience but I'm in the same boat. I have a 3yr old, a 1yr old, and one on the way. My husband left and I have no choice but to move back into my parents house (which sucks). I'm losing my home and getting ready to apply for rn programs. Congrats on being accepted into the program.
Thank you for sharing your experience & congrats on your accomplishment, you made it!
You are truly a "tough" person.
Thank you! I can understand how difficult your situation is, I hope everything works out for you and
you get accepted into rn program. Thank you
