Hey everybody! I'm new to this site but I love how everybody is helpful and supportive. In january I'm going to finish my core classes to transfer to Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta, Ga. I have a 3 month old son who I take care of by myself. His dad is in the picture but works full time and lives in another county twenty minutes away. He comes on the weekends. I'm brushing up on my math for the compass test and my baby does not like me "ignoring him" lol. Has anybody been through a situation like this who can offer advice on how to do full time school and raise a baby? My family lives in another county also but they are willing to watch him about once a week. Just trying to form a game plan and curious to see how others have gotten through it. Thank you for reading. :)

You will need a lot of regular support if you enter a nursing program and to take people up on their offer to babysit so you can have more uninterrupted stretches of studying. My kids are all in school. I take morning classes, study in the afternoons and evenings after they're in bed, and work on weekends. It takes a lot of time management to do it all.
Thank you for your response. I look forward to it but wanted to see how others have done it. On other threads I've noticed there are alot of other single moms on this site.
