Silly Question- Business Casual Clothing

Nurses General Nursing

HELP! Before I ask my question, please understand I am not totally clueless about clothing.....but what would you consider business casual? (I have a nursing school interview tomorrow!)

Black pants? Kacki pants? High heels? Blazer? Nice shirt?

Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks so much in advance.

Slacks, blazer/jacket over nice top or just nice top, reasonable shoes (not too high!). Comfortable and classy. :) Choose pieces that fit you well and you are comfortable in, so you'll exude confidence.

Best of luck!!!!

no cuts offs/halter tops/flip flops/midriff revealing---I would not wear jeans because some think that is too casual (and if you say jeans are ok you get ripped ones and other tacky stuff). No heels as you will stand out or will be uncomfortable. Clean and nice.

OH!!! Most important. Wear a smile.

Good luck.

Button down shirt and dress pants and jacket. Nice shoes, not high. Little make-up, not like going out to a club. Small earrings, less is more with the jewlery. Short manicured nails. Neat hair, nothing crazy. Take out extra piercings if you have them, ie tongue, eyebrow, lip etc. Good luck!
