Should I Take TEAS

Published

Hello All!

I am currently looking into accelerated BSN programs (I will be graduating with a major in Biology in may). I already know I do not want the extra work of taking the GRE's as I do not think I will have the time to prepare properly before applications are due. My question is, how is the TEAS exam? Being that I will have just graduated from college, would it take a lot of time to prepare for that exam?

Thanks!

Don't take the TEAS if you don't need to.

It's an entrance exam that covers materials from 9-12th grades.

It's pointless to take if you don't need it.

There are some programs that require it, some that require the HESI, and some that require other things. Don't take it unless you're applying somewhere that makes it a requirement.

I would not take it if you don't need to. I took it and failed math and now I'm re-studying and I'm scoring higher on practice test but it's a lot of time and effort unless your naturally good at the subjects that are on the teas exam .I wud not recommend to take it unnecessarily .
