Should I take sciences separate from clinicals?

Published

I've been accepted into the Spring 2018 Nursing program and my classes start in January so I have this fall semester off but, I wanted to graduate sooner so I'm taking A&P 1 right now. I never imagined this class would be so demanding. I work full time and this is an evening class, from 6 to 8:45pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have to study every day just to keep up and its incredibly difficult to memorize so much material. I've heard the nursing clinicals are challenging as well and I know when I start them next semester, I'll also be taking A&P 2 and Microbiology. I'm thinking of not taking any nursing clinical next semester and just taking the 2 science courses. I think taking the clinicals in addition to the sciences will be an overload for my brain. I mean I do wanna graduate sooner but I don't want to rush through these classes and end up failing and retaking them either. What do you guys think? Has anyone took all of their science courses separate from their nursing classes?
