I agree with what everyone has said so far on this. Really everyone should have a basic understanding of physics because it determines every motion and interaction you have in your life everyday. But beyond that, physics is the basis upon which all of your other science classes will be built. You will encounter elements of physics in every science class you ever take. It will help you understand and relate to things you learn later.
